Tablet, injection और high-dose inhaled/topical treatment glucose पर अलग असर डाल सकते हैं। Morning prednisolone बाद में sugar बढ़ा सकती है, इसलिए केवल fasting sugar problem miss कर सकती है। Monitoring expected pattern के अनुसार होनी चाहिए।
Painkiller में kidney context जरूरी है
Ibuprofen और diclofenac जैसे NSAIDs dehydration, low BP या existing kidney disease में acute kidney injury contribute कर सकते हैं। Over-the-counter use, duration और interactions review करें।
Prescriber और diabetes plan coordinate करें
Steroid या pain treatment prescribe करने वाले clinician को diabetes, kidney disease और current medicines बताएँ। Sugar बढ़े तो adjustment temporary हो सकता है और planned होना चाहिए।
