Frequently asked questions
Should everyone with diabetes take an SGLT2 inhibitor?
No. Potential benefit depends on diabetes type, kidney function, heart or kidney disease, infection risk, pregnancy and other factors.
Are weight-loss injections lifelong?
Duration depends on the indication, response, tolerability, access and long-term plan. Stopping can lead to loss of benefit, so this should be discussed before starting.
